Local Restaurants & Places to Eat around Whitebridge

The Riverside Restaurant

10 Bank St, Inverness IV1 1QY, UK – 01463 714884

Really excellent. The king prawns are a good way to start, and the sea bass and steak are excellent. We ended with sticky toffee pudding. One of the best meals I've had.

The service was lovely and the delicious!

The Mustard Seed Restaurant

16 Fraser St, Inverness IV1 1DW, UK – 01463 220220

Get a reservation! This place fills up, and for good reason. Dishes are on the small side, but no more than you expect of a sufficiently fancy restaurant. Amazing food. Great staff. Nice place.

Gorgeously bright and vibey little environment here at Mustard Seed. We enjoyed a table on the top deck and the windows were open with it being a surprisingly sunny day in Inverness. We had the pre-theatre menu with some wine and a dessert and everything was delicious. The service was incredible - super friendly and accommodating. Even the waiters who weren't serving us all said hello and goodbye in passing, which for me is a bit of a marking on how much a place gives a damn. These guys are amazing and well worth exploring!

Urquhart's Restaurant

2 Young St, Inverness IV3 5BL, UK – 01463 233373

Good service and nice toilets. Food was fast. Good portion of soup of the day. Slightly overpriced scallop starter - tasted frozen and scallop meat was scarce. Fish and chips were nice but the fish batter was too oily and crunchy. Chips were not great. Mediocre food for the price. Location was good but not an obvious place for a restaurant from the outside. Have to enter restaurant by going up a flight of steps so not sure if disabled access is easy. Very busy and always reserved which must mean the locals love it here.

We felt lucky to get a table on a Sunday evening as all week they were booked up. A small hidden restaurant that had an amazing staff and food. We had the mushroom appetizer which was amazing. I had the stroganoff and hubby had mixed grill. Both were good portions (mixed grill is huge). Decent wine and whisky selection and great attentive staff. We had a great dinner, one of our favorites from our holiday in Inverness.
